New Wine Brew Time
Second Tuesdays at 7p
Bad Brewing Company
Connect with a few people in their native habitat. Talk about nothing or talk about life. Probably think twice about talking about politics. Unless you listen twice as hard as you talk.
If we’ve never met you, you can be pretty sure somebody’s gonna buy you a drink.
Look for the people wearing New Wine t-shirts, or just look for that one guy with a really long beard. We might be in an igloo. No need to knock.

Over the River
Sun, Dec 10 1-3p
Enter at Maplegrove Cemetery on East or at the Community Gardens
Bring the whole family out to hike over the river and through the woods to meet Santa in his outdoor workshop. Follow along the Hayhoe Riverwalk searching for hidden Elves on the Shelf and read the story of Jesus’ birth.
FREE, of course.
Over the River
Visit Santa in his woodland workshop on the Hayhoe Riverwalk Trail. Families can safely visit this socially distanced Santa hard at work making their toys.
Your children will walk about half a mile and then back while they hunt for Elves on the Shelf hidden along the trail. Dress appropriately. The trail is paved but may be unplowed, if you prefer wagons or strollers.
Park on East Street near the cemetery entrance and walk about a half mile to Santa. To shorten your walk, park at the Community Garden parking lot on Jefferson St. and cross the bridge to the riverwalk.
Run from the Devil
Grab a costume, some walking shoes, your phone and some friends (18+) and head out for a night of adventure. This outdoor (aka socially distanced) escape room will lead you clue by clue in groups throughout downtown Mason and the surrounding area to the hidden final destination. Each team (your social bubble you bring with you) has the potential to earn rewards along the way. You’ll discover the ancient underworld through clues and dares and finish with hot cocoa and drinks around a bonfire. FREE, but you’ll need to register so we can update you on weather and text you if there are any course changes.
